"Play is the work of the child." - Maria Montessori

Nothing is more important in the development of a child than play, and we strive to foster that play during our sessions. We utilize our time with each client to encourage play with objects, imaginative play, and just plain silliness. Play therapy for kids is an essential part of our approach, helping children develop social, cognitive, and emotional skills through guided interactions. Play is included in programming, and technicians use break times to model how to play. When a child is ready, they are invited to play with other children in the clinic while a technician facilitates the interactions, reinforcing the benefits of play therapy for kids in a supportive environment.
